Very few people will ever have the opportunity to travel to Antarctica. This January, the Malizia Explorer research vessel is heading south on a scientific mission and we are taking you along. Join our "Classroom from the Ice" sessions in German, English and French!

Dial into Antarctica and spend one hour with scientists, documentarists, sailors, and climate activists. Together, we will explore the unique Antarctic environment, its global importance, the science being conducted there, its potential implications, and why protecting this fragile region matters to all of us. Guided by the belief that we only protect what we love, we aim to bring this extraordinary wilderness directly into classrooms around the world, helping children and young people appreciate its intrinsic value and build a meaningful connection to a remote place whose health influences life across the entire planet and is profoundly shaped by human actions.
